Click the Menu button on the printer and scroll to the Network settings to the IP address. You may need to change the IP address to suit your network.

Is the Canon connected with a cable that's connected to an active port. You can try to Fixed IP hold down 1 & 7 When you power up the machine, make the necessary network configurations and see if pings back with a reply.

you should be able to go through the print menu on the printer and look for something that says information or configuration and look for network settings and print this page.

This printer does not have a network interface. There is no ip address for this printer. You must connect via usb.
