System not initializing

Our system is model WC 255. Our problem is this, when switch on the following messages are coming.

System unavailable. Do not power down until the power down message appears.

After some time following message is coming.

Communication error
Try powering down then on again
Please call for assistance if problem persists

I have the same problem, on the first I thought that is Firware cuase a problem, I change the firmware same problem...

Does the machine have a network box on back? Frequently on that product the boards in the network controller come lose, and simply need reset.
You can unplug all accessories and see if it powers up then, then connect them back one by one and see which one causes the failure.

hi, i got the same problem with a xerox 238, but it doesn't have any network box ( is used just for coping) i changed main bord, and i got same error! HELP!
