i have a program that can get a value from the users but my problem is how to move the object based on the users input value..
all about Collision in Physics..
can't you give the sample Actionscript of this problem??

Dear friend at first you should get a value by Input text box from user (remember that you should limit the value base on your stage's size).
After that, you can move your Movie clip by method of _x or _y
