What keys do I use for print screen

What are the keys to print screen?
Print screen (often abbreviated Print Scrn, Prnt Scrn, Prt Scrn, Prt Scn, Prt Scr, Prt Sc or Pr Sc) is a key present on most PC keyboards. It is typically situated in the same section as the break key and scroll lock key.

Windows xp dell latitude e6400 print screen command? tried fn+alt+ (f11) prt scrn and fn+(f11) prt scrn neither worked looking foreward to hear from you

What the Print Screen option does is copies the screen to the clipboard. You will need to use a program such as Word and past the content to the open page.
By hitting the Print Screen button by itself will show the image of the desktop.
The Alt + Print Screen combination will give you a pic of the active window

You can also try this...
If your Print Screen is labeled in blue & your Function key is also blue then you have to hold Fn key while using Print Scrn , "Fn"+"Print Scrn" or "Fn"+"Alt+Print Scrn"

let me know if you have any other questions..
Thanks!

I cannot do a Print Screen with my Dell Latitude d610. I have tried all combinations of Ctrl+Prnt scrn and Fn+Prnt scrn. Any idea's?

Based on your keyboard layout, you don't need a key combination to capture your screen. Just press the "Print Scrn" button and your screen image will be copied to your clipboard. Now if you have pressed the "Print Scrn" key, go to MS Paint or any other image processing programs and "paste" it there.

Notice that your "Print Scrn" key is printed on top of the keyboard key and in white color. That means that it is the default key when pressed so there is no need to combine with Fn or shift. But if it is printed in blue or orange (your Fn key should be in blue or orange also) that is the time you need a key combination.

How to take a screenshot when the prt scrn button isnt doing ****

The print screen button doesn't to it on it's own. You press it when what you want is on the screen, then open a photo program and paste the 'captured' image in. hold ctrl tap the v key, then let go of both keys.
it should then show you your screenshot. you can then save it or print it

What does the "FLock" used for on a wireless keybd 4000? How do I toggle the PrtScn. SysRgk, Insert button? I sure would like to get a manual on the Kbd and Mouse. Thanks in advance for any help you may...

Prt Scr = print screen
To do a "Prt Scr" hold the CTRL key down and push the "Prt Scr" It will copy the screen info to the clipboard. And you can paste it in notepad, word etc.

The F Lock key, depending on its state, will allow either a function key's "normal" operation or a new "enhanced" operation. The initial state of the F Lock key is "off", and in this state, the function keys use their "enhanced" operation.
For many, the way that the F Lock key operates is not desirable; some people want "normal" function key operation, some people don't need the keys at all.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Prt scrn button does not work on Gateway KB-0532 keyboard

It doesn't work on my laptop. It works if you hold down the FN key whilst pressing the prt scrn button, if you cannot find the FN key, on my laptop it is next to the CTRL button on the bottom left. Hope I've solved your problem!
