Evaluating a problem using integration with sin x and cos x
I am trying to solve a calculus problem using integration with sinx and cos x.
Evaluation, from 0 to Pi/4, in equation (4 cos x + sqroot 2 sin x) dx. I get so far but when I try to evaluate, say, 4 sin Pi/4 I cannot arrive at the given answer of 4/sqroot2.
What am I doing wrong with my calculator? My answer is 2sqroot2!
Thanks for your help and a Happy New Year.
