I have Jensen JMP-52 that began buzzing incredibly loud. I tried moving the plug to a different outlet, the speakers away from my monitor, turning off my cell phone, etc. What finally stopped the buzzing was replacing the original plug-in transformer with a new one (a never used spare from an outdated zip drive). The buzz was gone instantly!
I have mac notebook and i experience an occasionally static and a pop sound via my studio monitors (speakers) , didn't do it when I first got my yamaha's
