I'm currently having the same problem.
Take the face plate off.
Use a pin to reset the stereo.
It'll probably stop working again, but at least you'll be able to get your cd out and take it somewhere to have the stereo fixed or replace. (STAY AWAY FROM JVC!)
My cd is the player is stuck and wont eject when i push the eject button
