Problems making wireless connection using Intel ProSet Wireless. It doesn't seem to recognize me anymore. When I try to connect I get a popup for General Settings with Profile Name and Wireless Network Name, but can't give a password or create a new profile successfully. Also the connection over the wired internet seems to be quite slow (about 300 kpbs), and not sure if this is typical speed.

  1. uninstall everything, delete all previous settings files. clean the regestry with a reg cleaner or manually then restart.

Then try installing it and create new settings. Just before you clean everything,
I suggest you take notes of all the values of all the fields so that you can re- create.
          2. get the latest drivers, if you can.

If you still have trouble, go to the vendor.
