when i go to unlock my phone i put in the de which is 2945#*990# and then it asks for a NCK number. It is quite long. Is it the IMEI number that is on the box??

Hi, Welcome to FixYa.

I assumes that your mobile is sim locked, and you have to unlock it. Network provider will give unlock code if you pay them for that. Otherwise if you can wait for three years they will provide you the code.
If you want to unlock it now, then you have some web sites available which will give unlock code if you give IMEI number to them. Unlock code is generated from IMEI code.
This website is one of them http://www.mrunlock.com/
Also you can do it in some near by mobile repairing shops. They will be having tools to unlock the mobile. It will cost you only 5$-15$

Hello Eric, you will not found free LG KU990 Viewty unlock code even you asked from vodafone. You can get lg unlock code from buying at online unlock code store or you can make request to vodafone about that unlock code. Once again eric there is no free unlock code, vodafone still take a charge from you up to $85 and you need to wait for a couple of week.

Hello, you will never get free unlock code even you share your IMEI number. That's not the way to get LG KU990 Viewty unlock code my friend, try to call your network provider and asking them about unlock code. Once again there is nothing free, your network provider will charge you some money for a straight of code. But you still can saving more your money by looking that lg unlock code from third party sites. They sell cheap unlock code up fourth lower than the original cost from network provider.

How to unlock your K700

To unlock your K700, you must first of all get the following codes from your operator; IMEI number, Code CCK, Code NCK, Code NSCK, Code SPCK and the Phone Code. Once these codes have been recieved, press <**< to view your phone's unlock status. Your phone should now display "Personalized with MNCx" (x could be 2 or 3, does not matter). Then press "yes" then you should go onto a "Personalize" menu with "network" highlighted. Now press yes, and the phone should display "enter NCK" or one of the other ones (CCK, NCK, NSCK, SPCK) Then enter that unlock code. Then press "yes" and if done properly, the phone should display "Network unlocked". If necessary, you may need to restart your phone to search for the network.

try ringing your service provider (e.g. Telstra, optus, virgin, vodofone) and asking them for the unlocking code...

Lg viewty unlock code
I had the same problem! In the end I rang virgin and they gave me the unlock code. First hold down the camera button and the lock button at the same time. This will take you to your key pad. Enter 2945#*990#. To be honest I cant remember what I selected after that I think it was unlock sim or something then it took me to a screen saying "enter NSCK. Remaining 10". Then I entered the number virgin gave me. I dont know if it was for my phone only but here it is:
2902945217800973. After I entered that it gave me a tick and then the handset reset and everything was exactly the same as before and I didnt loose my numbers or settings. I beleive remaining 10 means you have that many attempts before you get into serious trouble. I hope this works for you!
