What OS you have Win XP and Win 7 go to accessories Note pad
right click run as administrator highlight on desk top and in the box where it says file type c\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts and click open
this will pop up
# Additionally, comments (such as these) may be inserted on individual
#line or following the machine name denoted by a '#' symbol.
#
#for example:
#
# 102.54.94.97 rhino.acme.com #source server
# 38.25.63.10 x.acme.com # x client host
# localhost name resolution is handled within DNS itself.
# 127.0.0.1 localhost
# ::1 localhost
___________You type in the blank area__________
127.0.0.1 facebook.com
127.0.0.1 www.facebook.com

Than press file and save that should work for windows xp and 7
