This could be due the corrupted OS file.
Try to start the computer in safe mode, and restore the computer in old back date when it was working fine.
Also you can try to repair the OS using the Disc.

Do you have any expansion slots, PCI-E, AGP or PCI on your motherboard? If so, you could get a new card and install it.
