The triangle with the ! in the middle of it... what does it mean? I am having trouble printing from the two trays. If I feed the paper manually, it will print but in landscape format.
The ! in the triangle means manual feed or "continuable error" which means that the printer is manual mode. or there is a paper feed problem.
you need to check the HP print software, make sure all the printer setting are correct.
if so, then check the printer paper tray, make sure they are in working order, and there is no paper jam on the paper path from the tray to the output.
The manual feed use different paper path, so check the tray path.
then unplug the printer from the computer and shut down the printer.
wait 2 minutes, power up the printer and connect the printer tot he computer.
