Error F-12 has come up on washing cycle with water pouring into drum and machine fails to complete wash cycle.
F-12 is a drain problem.
Check if the drain hose is free, if cycle stops and gives you f12 without draining the water, there is a problem with the drain system.
The Hotpoint should have a removable paner at the back on the lower side. The panel gives access to the pump. If cleaning the drain hose does not solve the problem, the pump must be removed and cleaned or replaced.The repair should be done by a technician.
