Tripod problem I am using a very old video camera on an Apollo tripod to videotape my students. The camera is not stable on the tripod. I will set it and it slowly slides down and looks like it could fall off of the tripod. How can I tighten it?

If you twist the panning arm on most tripods this usually locks the position.
