Computer monitors I have just purchased a used Tft monitor and after using it the night before I switched it on the following morning and it powered up ok, then I left it on for 2 hrs max without using it and on my return the screen had gone black so I switched the computer off and powered it up again and the screen was still black but I have noticed a slight clicking sound coming from inside which sounds like a timer running down, as there was no instuctions with this monitor I do not know if there is a timer set on it if I press the last button on the right hand side which I am taking to be the on/off switch the monitor light does not come on , there is a switch on the left hand side rear panel that says 0 and I am taking [I] as on and [0] as off , is this the correct way round or is [0] on would appreciate any info on this monitor or if anyone has instructions to it please would be extremely grateful.

0 and 1 would be zero and one, from the digital world, meaning on and off. This unit needs component-level electronic troubleshooting, probably in the power supply section.
