Oh, apart from the interesting non-standard lights, you may well be able to solve the problem by emptying the print queue to get rid of the gibberish document. Double click your printer icon (start-control panel -printers and faxes) to bring up the print queue. Right click the queue and select cancel all. Once they are cancelled, turn the printer off and on - have the error lights gone? If so, print a test page, if not, report back.

if you don't have one. As you will see, your description of 3 red lit, and green flashing is not shown. Can you confirm this?
