Check your desktop settings are'nt at 256 colours and also go to your graphics display in system properties and check if the correct driver is loaded. To double check driver go to Start>Run, then type 'dxdiag' then press Enter, for a sound and video diagnosis. IF all seems well possible notebook display fault.

Thanks but that didn't work. Maybe I can clirify this the colors are in negative. like a color photo negative, white is black, black is white Etc. any solutions
