Have tried everything to get my computer to recognize usb data link cable for my phone, the same msg "USB Not Recognized." I have reinstalled, downloaded PC Studio, downloaded Kies Program all which have troubleshooting programs for the drive, nothing has worked. Tried it on another computer and it did the same thing. It looks like a common problem but still can't find solution.

Your best bet is to soft reset the device, uninstall ALL samsung software off you pc including drivers. then ensure the phone is in ActiveSync mode and then install all software from the disc or samsung.com site and then connect the phone.
