You can download a region-free player on your PC which enables you to play DVD of any region. You can try Leawo Blu-ray Player which is free to download and use.
I don't know if this will work, but try opening your dvd player with no dvd inside and with your controls press 0000 this hopefully will bring up a screen where your region settings are. Set it to 0 and press okay. This may make your dvd region free and should be able to play any dvds form any region
