SOURCE: Windows has recovered from an unexpected shutdown (Blue Screen)
When exactly do you get the error, I'm assuming you get this once Windows starts? These errors are most often caused by buggy or corrupt drivers. One that comes to mind is Norton. Does this unit go into Safe mode? If it does I would then go into msconfig. On the general screen there is a diagnostic startup. This loads only Windows most basic drivers and nothing else. If the machine works now then the BSOD is from a driver. If it doesn't boot then the first thing I would change are the memory sticks.

Try this one first.
Boot to F8 then select Last Known Good Configuration.
If fail boot back to F8 then Safe Mode.
In safe mode try to do system restore from the time system was working fine.
After that everything will be fine.
