The differnt guns are out of alignment. Your tv has 3 lcd screens, a red, green and blue one what overlay to form the image. Sometimes they move slightly for what ever reason and that causes the rainbow and out of focus picture. Its something that a trained pro should do but is a cheap fix and won't set you back too much
