E74: There is high chance it's a scaler chip problem (the "ANA" or "HANA" chip near the AV cable connection) it can also be caused by a faulty AV cable so check that first. In some cases it is a problem with the GPU and may be repairable by doing the x-clamp replacement. this method of replacement is a very risky procedure so if your system is still under a warranty, DO NOT attempt this procedure. if you just want to go for it then search the x-clamp replacment on google and follow their instructions. tho i HIGHLY, HIGHLY reccomend just sending the xbox into microsoft to get it fixed and or replaced for FREE! just search on google how to send your xbox360 into microsoft or just go onto the microsoft website to find out how to send in your xbox.
E74: AV cable error… There is a problem
with the AV cable, try using a different AV cable. (this could also be
a problem with the internal AV encoder chip)
