disc error

i have had it about 8 months and all the sudden it won't read any disc. All it says is disc read error and spits it out

Did you try cleaning the lens yet??? If the lens is not dirty and you have no electronic equipment like an osciliscope, and test alighnment disc theres not alot a consumer can repair on these units. Sorry. Good Luck
