I have the same problem. Error #1203 appears all the time. I followed the instraction appears on the computer, but it doesn't fix it. What is the problem??? I have the same problem. The 1203 error could be due to a communication problem between your cartridge and the printer or a short in one of the cartridges. Follow the simple steps below to fix the problem:
Open the printer cover and remove both cartridges.
Unplug and re-plug the printer into the power source to reset it.
When the printer turns on, re-insert one cartridge first. Close the cover and check for any errors.
If no error, re-insert the other cartridge.
Replace whichever cartridge is causing the error to appear. You can also try to insert a different known working cartridge to determine if the other is faulty.
