Stretched Image Just got a new monitor and now my images are all stretched sideways. Both monitors are Gateways but they are different shapes. Did I buy the wrong thing? If not, what can I do to correct the problem?
Unfortunately that didn't help. On the side of this new monitor there's a menue... When you press it info is displayed on the screen. But there isn't any Select button (+) and no Adjust button (-). Now what??? (Btw, I tried every option with the menu and I can't figure it out.)

If I could just find the word "resize" ANYWHERE I'd try it. I'm at a loss here. I will check the cable connection but I have a feeling I'm gonna hafta find a local geek! The problem is just the monitor settings. To reset the monitor, just press the Select button (+) and Adjust button ( - ) on your monitor at the same time.
Did you try adjusting the settings on the monitor..like resizing it? Also kindly check the cable connected from your monitor to the CPU.
