Im getting an error code E206 and I can't clear the memory I have a Casio PRC T470
To clear the EJ: turn the key to Z, press "RC" until you see "clear EJ", press the "cash" key.
Hi. I assume you mean a PCR-T470. Wouldn't you know it. The error descriptions are only listed up to E205. This is a special US/Canada only model, so I haven't had much to do with them. I'm not sure what you mean by 'clear the memory'. What were you doing when it happened? If this machine is new straight out of the box, I would expect this sort of thing, and you will need to MAC clear it. Let me know if it has been programmed before. Otherwise, you could try a Flag Clear:
Turn key to program mode.
Turn power off at the wall.
Hold FEED button down.
Turn on at wall.
When you see 'FFFFFFFF', let go of FEED button.
Press SUBTOTAL.
Turn back to REG mode

I have the same sort of problem on that register, and mine have been programmed. I don't mind reprogramming them, but can't get it to clear all the way ...
put key on "z" press rc button 7 times or until you see clear Journal then press cash/tend amount
