Predictive text Over time the T9 dictionary has stored unusual choices that appear before more commonly used words. For example, when the letters for "you" are entered it will by default suggest "Yov" and "by" is suggested as "29". Is there a way to reset the dictionary to its initial words?

Most annoying when sending text that the phone selects incorrectly spelled words like yot for you and fob instead of for; sending text using predictive text is now a chore! I'm not happy - the phone is not easy to use at the best of times so the additional problems are making it not the best choice of phone.

I have the same problem with my Samsung... "is" = 47 and several others words. It learned it when i typed it in the address box by mistake and cannot find a way to undo the programing.

Hi,

I had this problem and it was very annoying. What you have to do is..... create a new text message, enter the text that is annoying (mine was is coming up as 47). When you type the word and it comes up with the annoying one, select the word that you wanted and enter a space, and do it again and again (you can do this in the same text message - it can take up to 20 goes and eventually, the dictionary recognises that you actually wanted "is".

Have you guys tried going to the options while dictionary is on?
There's a feature in my SE phone that's named My Words that displays the list of words listed in your T9 dictionary...there u can edit and delete the words in your T9 dictionary list, Samsung phones might have such feature too...but maybe the term "My Words" in my phone is called differently in Samsung mobiles. Try checking it out.Good luck!
