it doesnt say attempt failed. ive had this same issue. all morning this morning and random other times, i login my info and it takes me to a "internet connection error" page. this is obviously bull because i can go to myspace and my bank page etc just fine. but when i go back to facebook, it acts like theres no internet connection. im really starting to get peeved. if it was the wrong sign in data, it would SAY THAT in red. im getting taken to an offline error page. every time.

Do you have an account on facebook? If not create before logging into it, if have that please tell what error are you getting while logging into it.

also possibilies of:
u may not hv java runtime/adobe flash player/shockwave player installed..
the windows firewall is limiting the site..
may b ur antivirus is doing so(use a licensed n updated antivirus - i prefer AVG/Kaspersky)..
some spyware/trojan horse also may play foul..
sometime it also depends upon the browser u r using..
may b it is black-listed or restricted by using 'content advisor' (in case of ie) in ur computer by some user or the above..
may b it is being filtered by the 'phishing filter'..
there may b possibilities that the site may contain 'active content'..

hello welcome to fixya. i hope u 'll be fine.
your facebook account is not oppening because u r entering wrong password or email address, first of all if u r not member then first become the member of facebook by signing up and if u r already a member but your account is not opening then first enter your correct email and password. you can check it in your mails too because face book also sent confirmation mail on your mailing address go there and access your face book account from there.
