    scanning problem
i am trying to scan from my printer and it keeps telling me "not set up on pc". My printer is connected by usb cable (not in a network). I have setup [Sacen to E-mail or a Folder] to "Turn on scan to e-mail of a folder" in the Toolbox. Any clues?

    Thanks!

This seems like you haven't installed the toolbox correct, please send more info.
Have you printer connected by usb cable or in a network(scanning doesn't work on a wireless)?
If on a network, use web browser and through EWS on printer see for network tab and SNMP enable read/write, print public in the 4 fields choose apply. Download fix scan utility from HP web and install. Restart the pc and set up the scan in toolbox and try scan again.

Okey. If it XP you have, do like this. Run uninstall from the CD or HP program. When finish uninstall, go to controlpanel add/remove program, remove image zon, extended capabillities and hp update. Restart PC check the CD for Scrubber.exe, it's in utilitys-ccc folder. scrubber works very fast, double click the scrubber.exe 2 times. Download Full software solution from HP.com and start install, but disconnect usb cable and plugg it in when install wizard ask for it. If you have Vista on PC, search for hppscan2.exe in searchfield, if you can scan using it, download a patch avaible from HP.com
