2) Model number given does not match known product. Google search shows fixya on first page result, implying there is no information on this model number timer. Add comment and describe timer in detail.
The operator's manual has no reference to a lamp timer. The only user setting associated with the lamp is "Energy" for setting the lamp power to Standard or Bright. I'm surprised; most LCD RPTV sets have a timer that should be reset after replacing the lamp, and the instructions for doing so are given in the manual. The manual for this model only says to replace the lamp if the picture is getting dimmer (page 77).
Please read the guidelines given in the operation manual, and follow each step by step. You might be skipping one or more of them and that is why you are not able to set up the timer.
go to Woods heavy duty timer and there is three tabs below the advertisement, one will say "specifications" and at the bottom of the tab page is instructions in green highlight. use the instructions given for pin timer , it works on earlier models as well.
