It would appear that the disk is not formatted. this usually happens when the filesystem is RAW (typical when drives are brand new).
If this drive is NOT brand new, then it may have been ejected without having it "safely removed" by Windows first.
Either way, the drive will have to be formatted to be functional again. The way it looks, if there was any data there before, it's all gone now. ust right-click on the drive in My Computer and choose FORMAT. It doesn't really matter if it's quick or not, it's all up to you.
