I had this same problem. If this is a slot drive.. there is no way in,, so i'm told.I flicked hard / banged the top of the laptop above where the drive is whilst pressing the eject button.
Failing this, I would send it back (under warranty) or get a new drive, but I'd assume you'd have to say goodbye to the stuck disc.
N.B. I would not recommend to anyone to physically abuse their laptop.. but hey!.. it worked for me!

there should be multimedia touch buttons above the keyboard... for play skip track pause, etc... one of these should be eject, however there have been some issues with this (possibly to be fixed by a software patch)
Alternatively you should be able to eject the disk by going to "MY computer" right click on the correct drive icon for your CD/DVD drive and select Eject from the popup menu

find a thin stick but must be verry thin. you will see a small hole in DVD uniit. put the stick in it your dvd will eject.

i will recommend returning it if its within warranty period since the only form of making it work will mean a few extra amount of money.
Again this could mean a hardware or firmware error and sometimes a visit to the website of dell or the exact dvd manufacturers website could produce a solution in the form of firmware updates to rectify such errrors. fo try it and all the best

you may want totry to note the source of the noise to pinpoint the possible cause. note if it is fron the hard drive, speakers or the fan. once you have found the source, you may then get warranty replacement if still active for the part generating it. other things to try would be to update bios and hard drive firnware if applicable which can be downloaded through the dell support site. you can also run the Dell diagnostics tool for abnormal noise to try to verify the source of the noise. hope this helps

I have this same problem. If it is a slot drive.. there is no way in.. so i'm told. Anyway.. I flicked hard / banged the top of the laptop whilst trying to eject and it came out. I haven't had a problem since! - N.B I would not recommend any physical violence towards your laptop.. even in these times of trouble.. but hey!.. it worked for me!
