I am using a mac and I it will not recognize the SD Card I have installed and formated on the phone. Can this actually be done? I am wanting to put music on the sd card and have tried doing it on the SD card but the phone doesn't recognize the songs that are on the card thoughts?

Yes, Brother there is one probability that your sd is formatted in fat-32 file system. For that i would like to say phone can only read FAT not FAT-32. Go to my computer, select sd drive properties and format it with FAT file system. Then load the files and you will be able to see it in your phone. If it works don't forget to vote here. Usually you should be able to take the SD card out of your phone and put it in a universal card reader (around $30.00 cost) connected to you computers USB port. The SD card will come up as an external drive icon on your desktop. When you open the SD card icon on your desktop by clicking on it the contents of the card should be right there visable. Just drag whatever you don't want on the card off the card and into the trash. It should no longer be on the SD card when you reinsert it in your phone.
