Dryer does not get real

Sounds like one of the heating coils has broken. Replacement usually requires complete dismantlement of the unit to get at the back of the barrel.

Dryer to hot and smoking

Get a dryer vent cleaner and stick it in as far as it will go. You have a plug somehwere in the vent and it needs to be cleared, try doing this from the top down to avoid making the clog worse

Kenmore Portable dryer, shocking

To me it sounds like you could have the polarity reversed on the wiring. Also is the outlet that it is plugged in to grounded that alone will cause a shock to be given off, Have goods holiday, biigg53566+

Thermal overload?

The windings in the motor have been overheated to the point that the insulation is burnt off. I call this pre installed smoke. If it is let out replace the motor. There should be a local appliance parts dealer that can help you get the motor.

Kenmore Elite Smartheat quietpak9 HE4 dryer. How do I fix Kenmore dryer intermittent problem?

Question edited for clarity. Intermittent problems are the most difficult faults to diagnose because of their nature. Everything you state leads me to believe it is a button problem, or a main board problem, but the fact it works perfectly sometimes mean it is not the electronics board itself. They tend to work, or they don't, so it is likely a connection problem, due to heat, cold and vibration. Get a can of Electrical Switch Cleaner, (not WD40). Remove the panel and flood the buttons with switch cleaner. I see there are 4 multipin connectors on the wiring harness. break these connections and spray the with cleaner. Make and break a couple of times to clean the contacts. Take pictures before removing the connectors as two look similar. Unfortunately, the control board is no longer available in any of the colours at Sears, so I hope this cleaning works for you. Another thing you can check for is a board track crack or a dry joint. Use a jewelers loupe to magnify. https://www.searspartsdirect.com/model/5cf25nkh29-000583/kenmore-elite-11085088400-dryer-parts ..

How to take front bottom panel off a Kenmore dryer series 600

To remove the front bottom panel of your Kenmore dryer series 600 and access the lint line for cleaning, follow these steps: Unplug the Dryer: Safety first! Make sure the dryer is unplugged from the power outlet. Remove the Toe Panel: Locate the screws at the base of the toe panel (the lower front panel). Unscrew these screws to release the toe panel. Lift the toe panel down and away from the dryer to remove it. Set it aside. Access the Front Panel: Remove the two screws along the top of the front panel. Lift the front panel off the Kenmore HE2 dryer cabinet. Clean the Lint Line: With the front panel removed, you'll have access to the lint line area. Vacuum or clean out any lint, dust, and debris from this area. A lint brush or a vacuum cleaner with a narrow attachment can be helpful. Reassemble: Once you've cleaned the lint line, reattach the front panel by reversing the steps above.

Drum spins off center and clothes get stuck between drum and casing

If your clothes get marked or torn in your dryer, check these:

Rollers
Rear seal
Front glides
Front seal
Rollers Your dryer may use rollers, or wheels, to support the rear of the clothes drum. When these are worn out, they may cause the clothes drum to drop down slightly, which can pinch the clothes between the top of the clothes drum and the rear of the dryer interior. When the rollers wear out, you need to replace the whole set.

Rear seal Your dryer may have a felt-like seal at the rear of the drum. If this seal is worn, torn, or missing, clothes can get caught and torn in the space between the clothes drum and the rear of the dryer interior. When the rear seal wears out, you need to replace it.

Front glides Your dryer probably uses nylon or plastic glides at the front of the clothes drum for support. When these are worn out, they may cause the clothes drum to drop down slightly, which can pinch the clothes between the top of the clothes drum and the front of the dryer interior. When the glides wear out, you need to replace them as a set.

Front seal Many dryers have a felt-like seal at the front of the drum. If this seal is worn, torn, or missing, the clothes in the dryer may get caught and torn in the space between the clothes drum and the front of the dryer interior. When the seal wears out, you need to replace it.

Trying to find out how much part #7 on the exploded view of the Kenmore elite electric dryer model 110.2808 is? It is a motor.

110.2808 is an incomplete model number. Motors are typically $140 to $180 USD https://www.easyapplianceparts.ca/PartInfo.aspx?inventory=334304&SourceCode=18 This is is a typical Kenmore model designation and is probably the matching washer to your dryer. Yours is missing 4 numbers. Label in the back, label on the door frame, mentioned on the manual.
